The University of Narowal (UON) is a public university located in Narowal, Punjab, and was established in 2004. The NOU is committed to excellence in research and knowledge exchange. The staff members of the University of Narowal demonstrate coordination which acts as a catalyst in student’s lifelong learning. Studying at the university of Narrow will be inspiring, challenging, and rewarding.
Education at the NOU gives students the edge to involve themselves with intense faculty who are distinguished leaders in their respective fields. The NOU develops students into professionals, ready to take up national and international challenges.
Vision & Mission: The mission of the University of Narowal is to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the national and international levels of excellence. Narowal district is situated to the North-East of Pakistan consisting of tehsils such as Narowal, Shakargarh, and Zafarwal. It is supposed to be named after a Sikh landlord Naro Singh who inhabited it in the sixteenth century. The city is situated on the bank of the river Ravi.
The district is bounded on the northwest by Sialkot District, on the north by Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir India, on the southeast by the Gurdaspur District(India) Pathankot District (Republic of India), on the south by Amritsar district (Republic of India) and on the southwest by Sheikhupura District in Pakistan.

Students with related field degrees with required marks from any well-known institutes. Students that have appeared in HSSC (Part II) or an equivalent examination and are awaiting results are eligible to apply to the University of Narowal for higher studies.
Criteria for Undergraduate Program:
– Twelve years of education related to the field, FSc /FA degree, or any equivalent with at least 45% of marks.
Criteria for graduate Program:
– 16 years of education with at least 2.2 CGPA or at least 45% marks under the semester system.
