The University of Agriculture (UAF) is a public research university located in Faisalabad, Pakistan, with the motto The University brings out all abilities, including incapability. It’s the degree awarding institute and is recognized by HEC, Pakistan Engineering Council, and an association of commonwealth universities. In Life Science and Agriculture Science (Shanghai Ranking 2019), it is ranked as 127th, ranked 4th in Pakistan, and 1st in Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences. UAF is organized into faculties of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering and Technology,  Social sciences, Veterinary Science, Food Nutrition and Home Economics, Animal Husbandry, Biochemistry, Plant and Animal Breeding, Food Sciences, Biotechnology, Doctor of Pharmacy, Statistics, Mathematics,  and Sciences.

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs. The admission opens in July-August. Students can apply online. The university assigns the entry test date, with its location and roll no. to the students.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
1. The students who scored a minimum 50% score in matric/O levels and 60% in intermediate.
2. Students who scored 50% in the entry test.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS
1. Students who scored a minimum of 3cGPA in the graduate program.
2. Students who scored 50% in the GATS subject test.
3. The selected students will be screen during the interview.

Best Agriculture University in Pakistan

I enrolled in 2003 and left with a PhD in 2015. The best thing about this University is conducive learning environment. Research setup for agriculture is marvellous, especially dedicated research farms for agriculture along with well furnished labs and highly-qualified faculty from foreign universities. If your interest is in agriculture or plant & animal sciences, then this must be your first choice.
