The Shaikh Ayaz University, formerly Shikarpur Campus of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, was established by a notification issued by the Government of Sindh on December 12th. The university is named after the well-known Sindh poet Shaikh Ayaz, who was born in Shikarpur. Students, faculty, and all other staff members enthusiastically welcomed the decision and praised the local political leadership and provincial government for making this decision. Fortunately, the new status precludes more attention and material assistance from the Sindh Government in order to maintain the previous glory and achieve new heights of success.

Shikarpur Campus was built in2011, and Prof. Dr. G. Raza Bhatti was handpicked as the founding Pro-Vice-Chancellor. Shikarpur Campus’s success in conveying higher education to students in the region had clearly raised a sense of ownership and further development of the Campus into a university. As a result, the former Shikarpur Campus is now officially known as The Shaikh Ayaz University.

Every candidate desirous of taking admission to the Graduate (BS Four-Year Program) or post-graduate classes shall fill in the admission form and apply. Every candidate shall supply duly attested, along with the admission form.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

1. Intermediate Examination or any other examination equivalent with a minimum percentage of 50% marks.
2. Foreigners may be considered for admission only when nominated/recommended by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance & Economic Affairs Division Government of Pakistan.
