About Us
Jinnah University for Women was found in the year 1998 under the umbrella of Anjuman-e-Islamia Trust founded by Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed (T.I).
The University is one out of the 17 institutions formed by the Trust but it is one of the most important, as the desire of the president to form a separate University for girls comes true.
The University boosts intellectual and individual growth of students, preparing them to be a transformational citizen with sound ethical culture and religious norms. Jinnah University for Women emphasis on priorities in enhancing the quality of service delivery, giving practical cum industrial oriented syllabus, promoting total quality management of educational programs, ensuring a beneficial campus environment for the faculty members and students, the combination of technologies, taking the advantage of research and development to the communities in need.

Jinnah University for Women Admissions, Departments and Scholarships
The Jinnah University of women offers Academic Programs in BS, BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BEMS/ Pharm-D (Pharmacy), MS, M.A, M.Sc., M.Com, MBA MS/M.Phil and Ph.D.
Admissions of students to university are exclusively for girls. Every student taking admission to the University has to be conscious of the rules and regulations of the university and follow them. Rules controlling attendance and promotion are of special importance.
Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. 12 years of field related education, passed with at least second division from any registered institution.
2. 50% marks in entry test.
Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. 16 years of education with at least second division with aggregate 45% in the annual system and 2.5 CGPA in the semester system.
2. 50% marks in entry test.

Jinnah University for women not to profit organization which is working under the Anjuman-e-Islamia Trust Scholarship Policy of Jinnah University for women has been constructed with the aim to support students with their educational expenses and to make education common among females. Various classes have been introduced to give equal opportunity for all students to fulfill their goals despite their financial position, to polish quality intake and to make their academic performance better and to encourage women to play their vital role in the progress of Pakistan.

The University has synchronized the quarterly scientific research journal of JUW named “RADS”.
Around 114 research papers are published by faculty teachers of the different departments in National / International journals during the year 2013-2014 and in addition around 03 books have also been published by faculty teachers. The University organizes different seminars, workshops, a symposium on topics related to academics for students of different departments according to their requirements.
Seminars and workshops are sponsored by the university on a monthly bases, and some time on a weekly bases, the aim is to engage students in discussions and motivate them to present their projects. Seminars install aspiration and motivation into the students. Students can also give suggestions related to seminars and organize workshops.
