Abasyn University Islamabad is charted by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Abasyn University Islamabad Campus is established at Park Road, Chak Shahzad. Abasyn University was granted NOC by HEC to open its campus in Islamabad. Moreover, it is affiliated with the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan), Pakistan Engineering Council, and as well as Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

The university offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs. These include disciplines of Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Health Sciences, Management, and Life Sciences. The campus has fully furnishedcomputer and medical labs. The libraray is well-stocked with access to digital research databases, e-journals, e-books, and e-reports.

The mission of Abasyn University Islamabad Campus is “To build a nationwide knowledge community through quality education, relevance, critical thinking, creativity, research and a sense of social responsibility”. University has highly qualified teachers and other staff. The motto of the Abasyn University Islamabad Campus is “Passion to Design Future.”

Abasyn University aims to provide relevant education to its students along with career counseling. It focus on wise knowledge and skills, a research society for practical life, respects for traditions and cultures of other ethnic groups, and a responsible asset to the community.

Admission to Abasyn University is purely on a merit base and there is no quota system. The applicant has to pass an entry exam for admission to Abasayn University Islamabad. A list of successful candidates will be shown online on their website.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs

1. Applicants must have 12 years of education with at least 45% marks (2nd division) or equivalent from a recognized institute.
2. Students having A-level must provide an equivalence certificate by the Intermediate Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs

1. Applicants must have completed 16 years of education with 45% marks (2nd division) or equivalent or 2.5 CGPA.
2. GAT-General with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required.

Scholarships awarded to students on the merit base in Abasyn University Islamabad Campus. There is a diversity when it comes to scholarships so that every potential can have an equal chance. Following is the list

1. Students with 100% to 75% marks will get a 50% scholarship on tuition fees.
2. Students with 74% to 60% marks will get a 25% scholarship on tuition fees.
3. A need-based scholarship is also available.
