Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Doctor of Physiotherapy is a 5-years degree program that equips the aspirants with advanced knowledge about human anatomy and physiology with practical information about physical therapy. BS in Physical Therapy has been termed as Doctor of Physical Therapy degree by American Physiotherapy Association to give a proper title to the degree holders. The patients will be given physical therapy by a specialist doctor that is a doctor of physical therapy. In these 5 years, the aspirants will have extensive knowledge and training in this particular field and will earn the title of doctor. The prerequisite of admission in this degree is FSc (pre-medical) or equivalent education (related subjects) with 60% marks. The marks percentage of Matric will be added to the merit aggregate. The students must have to clear the entry test with the required marks.

Doctor of Physical Therapy is a 5 years BS degree program that awards the status of a physiotherapist to the degree holder.
