Ph.D. Biochemistry

Ph.D. in Biochemistry is 3 to 5 years degree  program  depending on Institut you are enrolled in. It is meant to offer students with a strong foundation of knowledge in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology while also giving them the freedom to tailor their studies to their specific research interests. Students can choose from a wide selection of courses in the Biochemistry Concentration, as well as advanced courses from other fields. Many of these 3-hour courses have been broken down into modules so that students can earn credit for only portion of the course. Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes that occur in living organisms, and PhD programs in biochemistry may focus on issues such as nanotechnology and cancer research, among others. Moreover, they may investigate potential solutions to these big concerns as well.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MS in Biochemistry or Equivalent with minimum 2.5 CGPA from HEC recognized University.
  • Passing marks in entry test.

Ph.D. Graduates of biochemistry programs can work in hospitals, universities, food institutes, drug rehabilitation centers, or cosmetic laboratories. Clinical research associates, forensic scientists, toxicologists, analytical chemists, nanotechnologists, pharmacologists, and other careers can be pursued by students over time.
