Bachelors of Arabic

It is a 4 years degree program that focuses on the introduction of Arabic language and literature with enhancing Arabic spoken skills. It aims to develop the basic skills in understanding the linguistic and literary aspects of Arabic. It empowers the students to successfully respond and critically interpret the language in multiple contexts. It has 8 semesters that provide adequate knowledge about Arabic literature and language. The prerequisite for admission in BS Arabic is HSSC/ equivalent education with 2nd division or 50% marks. Some universities may have admission tests/interviews to assess their aptitude in the Arabic language. Therefore, it is recommended to check the admission criteria of the university before applying.

Scope

BS in Arabic is an important degree in our national and religious context. BS Arabic provides a good scope as interpreters at multiple platforms to assist in communication. BS Arabic also has good scope in the teaching profession in schools especially now, the government has made Arabic compulsory in primary education. Top of everything, it is the language of the Quran and Hadith that is why every Muslim wants to learn the original language of the Quran.
