BS Agricultural Engineering

Agricultural engineers may be in charge of planning, supervising, and managing the construction of dairy effluent schemes, irrigation, drainage, and flood water control systems, as well as conducting environmental impact assessments, agricultural product processing, and interpreting research findings and putting them into practise. A considerable number of agricultural engineers work in academia or for government organisations like the US Department of Agriculture or state agricultural extension bureaus. Others work in industry for producers of agricultural machinery, equipment, processing technologies, and buildings for housing animals and storing crops, while others serve as consultants for private engineering businesses. Agricultural engineers operate in a variety of settings, including production, sales, management, research and development, and applied science. Agricultural Engineer is also a phrase used in the United Kingdom to denote someone who fixes or improves agricultural equipment.
