[Admissions Open Fall 2023] Lahore School of Economics
Lahore School of Economics (LSE) has announced admissions for the fall 2023 session. LSE is a renowned private sector university of Lahore offering degree programs like Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance in BS, MS, and Ph.D. MBA and Executive MBA are one of the top programs of this university. Securing admission at LSE is quite difficult and you have to clear the entrance exam first before you could enroll in any degree program.
Admissions Requirements of LSE
Admission requirements for the Lahore School of Economics's Bachelor's Programs are as follows:- SAT I: Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 1200 out of 1600, with a minimum of 600 in the Mathematics section. Alternatively, candidates can also take the Lahore School Entrance Examination.
- Interview Process: All applicants are required to go through an interview as part of the admission process.
- Educational Background: Candidates should have completed 12-13 years of formal schooling, with a maximum of one gap year. The following certifications are accepted: (i) Matric and Intermediate: Minimum 60% marks. (ii) American High School Diploma: Equivalent to 60% as determined by the IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen). (iii) International Baccalaureate: Equivalent to 60% as determined by the IBCC. (iv) GCE 'O' Level: Passes in 8 subjects, along with A Level in three principal subjects. Equivalent to 60% as determined by the IBCC. It's important to note that no credit will be given for Advanced Subsidiary, General Paper, or any other half-credit course.
- A Level Candidates: Candidates who are awaiting their final A Level results or will be appearing in the final examinations in Fall 2023 can also apply for provisional admission for the Academic Year 2023-24. However, they must submit their A Level results as soon as they are declared.
- Equivalence Certificate: Applicants who have completed O-Level, American High School Diploma, International Baccalaureate, or A-Level must provide an equivalence certificate from the IBCC.
