Ph.D. Urdu

It is a 3-5-years doctorate program that enhances the understanding of the students about core concepts of Urdu linguistics and literature. The aspirants will develop enhanced research skills and critical thinking. These skills make them experts to work in the development of Urdu. Ph.D. Urdu consists of a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years. The aspirants will do coursework and research theses. The students must have to complete and get approved the research thesis to become eligible for the degree. The prerequisite of the degree is MS Urdu with 1st division in annual system examination/ 3.50 CGPA in semester system. The aspirants must have passed the GAT Subject by NTS/GRE International. The applicants must have to pass the admission test of the university to get a place on the merit list.

Scope
