BS Geosciences

Students who earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geosciences have a strong foundation in the physical sciences with a concentration on geography, geology, earth systems science, and physics and chemistry. As a result of our instructor-led lab courses, you'll receive significant hands-on experience and knowledge. Students who want to get enrolled in Bacherlors'  degree in  in geosciences can prepare by enrolling in foundational courses in mathematics, science, and geographic studies. In comparison to any other academic subject, geosciences is neither more difficult nor less easy to learn. It is, however, a science, and if you want to be successful in it, you will need to put in the necessary time and effort.

  • Intermediate (FSc) or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 50% marks in previous degree.

Scope

BS degree in Geoscience can lead to opportunities in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. These positions may involve conducting field research or teaching, among other responsibilities. Geology graduates can find employment with the government in areas such as natural resource management and planning, as well as conservation and environmental protection efforts, among other things. Environmental geologists, hydrologists, geographic information systems (GIS) analysts, remote sensing specialists, petroleum geologists, and educators are among the jobs available to graduates of geoscience programs.
