BS Petroleum Engineering

On a global basis, the petroleum sector is still functioning. Petroleum engineering is a bachelor's degree of 4 years that focuses on the exploration, production, and transportation of this energy resource.   It is a degree that provides a foundation in math, science, and critical thinking in order to prepare for a more in-depth study of the global and local implications of petroleum production and distribution. Daily operations management, safe and sound field practices, drilling, well completion, well testing, offshore drilling, and increased oil recovery methods are all possible research topics. Simulation techniques targeted toward projecting flow and other possibilities may be included in the curriculum. Students can think about national, international, and societal challenges in the petroleum business.  An undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering may prepare a student for a career in production or transportation in the sector. It's also a prerequisite for a master's degree in research, development, or energy analysis.
