BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

The BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics (HND) is 4 years degree program that is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to progress toward their goals in terms of supervised practice, resulting in high-quality consummate professionals who can provide excellence in service to society through careers in food, nutrition, dietetics, academia, and research. The program aims to give fundamental understanding about how different nutrients and other food components function at different levels (cellular, systemic, and whole body), as well as their impact on human health and disease patterns. Through high-impact and high-quality teaching, training, and research mentorship, the program will successfully contribute to the knowledge foundation of undergraduate students in the human nutrition and dietetics program. Graduates will be able to provide high-quality, research-based, and innovative interventions to help people change their eating habits and food choices, with the ultimate goal of improving the health of individuals, families, and communities. Graduates will also give academic support, professional assistance, and volunteer assistance to a variety of community, professional, and governmental groups.

Eligibility Criteria

  •  At least 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) examination with Pre-Medical or equivalent qualification.
  • Passing marks in entry test.
