Ph.D. Food and Nutrition

PhD Food & Nutrition is 2-5-years degree program that comprises of coursework, practical training, and research thesis. Scope

In some parts of Pakistan, the population suffers from a variety of nutritional deficiencies, ranging from protein-calorie malnutrition to deficiencies in specific micronutrients. Therefore, there is a good scope of PhD in food and nutrition. The degree holders might work as researchers in nutrition and dietetics research groups. They can also teach as Lecturers and Assistant Professors in academic institutions such as universities and colleges. Degree holders can also work for NGOs such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), among others.
