Virtual University is one of Pakistan’s first university based completely on modern Information and Communication Technologies. Recognized in 2002 by the Government of Pakistan to encourage distance education in current information and communication technologies as its primary objectives, the Virtual University is noted for its online lectures and broadcasting exact programs regardless of their students’ physical locations.

It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan). Virtual University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business administration, economics, computer science, and information technology. A candidate (Pakistani National) can get hold of the admission application form either from Virtual Campus or from the VU website and relate for admission (subject to eligibility criteria) by submitting a filled admission form with mandatory documents including the fee paid Challan/Demand Draft (in original)  to the nearest Virtual Campus or by mailing at Registrars’ Office (Admissions), Virtual University of Pakistan M.A. Jinnah Campus, Defence Road, Off  Raiwand Road, Lahore. The admissions are open in two sessions. Spring session: February- March Fall session: August -September’

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. Candidate passed 12 years of field-related education.
2. At least with second division from any recognized institution.
3. 50% marks in the entry test.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. The candidate passed 16 years of education with a 50% minimum 50% mark on the entry test.
2. The selected candidates will be screened during the interview.

Selection Criteria for Postgraduate Programs
1. The candidate scored 3cGPA at least in graduate programs 50% in the entry test.
2. The selected candidate will be screened during the interview.
