The University of Swat Shangla is located in the Shangla district. Shangla District is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It was previously a subdivision of Swat District but was upgraded to the status of a district on July 10, 1995. The climate here in the winter season remains extremely cold in the upper part of Shangla and moderate in the lower part.
Similarly, in summer, the lower part remains hot while the upper part of Shangla remains moderate. Shangla is ethnically composed of many prominent tribes.  NWFP is also known as the ‘land of hospitality and the people of District Shangla seem to be the true picture of this title. There is a beautiful river that comes from glaciers dividing Shangla into two parts and falls into the Indus River at Besham.
Natural resources like precious gemstones, coal, and forests play an important role in income-generating activities for the local population. The University of Swat Shangla is established in 2010. It is Public Sector University and its main campus is in Saidu Sharif, Swat.
University has multiple disciplines and provides quality and affordable education. It is affiliated with HEC, PEC. The university has highly qualified teachers and fully equipped labs. The motto of the university is “Aspiring for Quality Education with Relevance.”

2. NTS test with 50%n marks.

1. Applicants must have completed 16 years of education with a 2.2 CGPA.
2. GAT-General with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required.
