National University of Modern Languages Quetta campus is situated in Street 2 Samungli Rd, Jinnah Town, Quetta, Balochistan. Quetta is the Capital city of Balochistan Province. Also known as “Fruit Garden of Pakistan” because of different fruit orchards and a variety of fruits and dried fruit products. National University of Modern Languages Quetta is the institution that was globally awarded the acclaim in a very short period. Some different schools and colleges are working under the National University of Modern Languages Quetta at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the disciplines of Management, Engineering, Information Technology, and Social Sciences.
The University is affiliated with the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Academy of Letters, Pakistan Engineering Council, and Association of Commonwealth Universities. The National University of Modern Languages, Quetta is giving opportunities for proactive and positive knowledge exchange and development with the help of hardworking students, qualified and supportive faculty, and efficient administration. The motto of the university is to provide outstanding, handy, and economical learning facilities i-e innovations in e-learning and information communication technologies. Also, it supports innovative research activities in the fields of Mass Communication, International Relations, Social Sciences, Business Studies, and Engineering, etc.
Along with this, the motto of the National University of Modern Languages, Quetta is also to flourish the practices of ethical and moral values, rules of trust and authenticity, innovation and invention, struggles, risk-taking, and social relations formation.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. 12 years of education with a minimum of 50% marks.
2. 50% marks in entry test.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. 16 years of education with minimum CGPA 2.5/4 or 45% marks in annual system.
2. 50% in entry test.

Selection Criteria for Postgraduate Programs
1. 18 years of field related education From HEC recognized university with at least CGPA 3/4 or first division in annual system.
2. GAT (subjective) or GRE subject with at least 60% marks.

Research and Development
Seminars and Workshops

ORIC was created to activate the process of research, innovation, and commercialization in all departments of the university. Accordingly, the ORIC aims to protect and enhance the attentions of NUML and promoting long-term, viable plannings, and programs of the departments.  It is also working to enhance the research activities in university as per HEC’s plan. For this purpose, ORIC is contacting the corporate sectors/industry to establish unity between research and requirements.

Workshops and seminars are held so that students in underprivileged sites can have access to innovative and factual information. These events are mostly free of costs and students from different universities are also invited to attend them.
