The University of Jhang is a public university and it is located in Jhang, Punjab. It is approved by HEC. Jhang is the capital city of the Jhang District in the Punjab province. It is the 18th largest city in Pakistan, with a population of 414,000 people. Jhang is a well-developed state with numerous other higher education institutions apart from the University of Jhang such as UVAS, Lahore College for Women University, along with other private and government colleges.
The motto of the University of Jhang is knowledge is power. The University of Jhang believes in providing effective training to the faculty and supporting staff to improve their performance level. Setting up committees to review the syllabus and the content taught to the students to meet with the challenges of the changing times. Assuring the progressive approach towards the examination and assessment system for better results.
