Faisalabad city is one of the most populous cities of Pakistan and has grown to be a large industrial and distribution center due to its intersection with the rest of the cities. Agriculture and industry are the main hallmarks of Faisalabad.
The UET Faisalabad is a sub-campus of the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET Lahore) situated in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. It is a public university and was established in 2004. It was inaugurated by Pervez Musharraf to create an engineering institute to provide qualified staff to fill the gap in Faisalabad’s industrial center.
It was originally set up in the old campus of Faisalabad Hamdard University then its campus was situated at Khurrianwala-Makkuana Road, Faisalabad. It is the hub of all enterprises related to industries in our country. It covers 209 acres and total student strength is more than 800.UET Faisalabad is an under progress building with five departments and is currently teaching undergraduate programs from which Electronics and Telecom Engineering, Mechatronics and Control Engineering, and B.Sc. Chemical Engineering is related to industry and two other departments are under construction.

UET Faisalabad campus is currently offering undergraduate programs in three departments. Admissions open in June. Students can apply online. University will then assign the entry test date
.Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. Candidate passed 12 years of field related education.
2. At least with the second division in metric and FSC.
3. 50% marks in the entry test.
