The University of Buner is a public sector university that is situated in Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan and was established in 2017. The University is passed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act 2012. Buner district is a district with natural beauty and color and is famous for the cool and fresh atmosphere. The University focusing on providing excellent education, qualified faculty, research centers, and other facilities to its students.

1. 12 years of education with a minimum of 50% marks.
2. 50% marks in entry test.
Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. 16 years of education with minimum CGPA 2.5/4 or 45% marks in annual system.
2. 50% in entry test.

Seminars and workshops are essential for the students to gain knowledge, to improve their skills and knowledge. The University organized such seminars and workshop some of them are
1. Training workshops on “Economic and Entrepreneurial Capacity Enhancement and Linkages Development” was organized on 16-18 April 2019.
2. International Workshop on “Qualitative Research Methods and its Applications “ was organized by the University of Buner on 27 June 2018.
