The University of Balochistan Kharan is a public university located in Bhugti Stadium Kharan, Shamsul Ullom Street, Malangzaiabad Mohalla, Kharan, Balochistan. It was developed in 1970. University of Balochistan (UOB) Kharan develop human support in Balochi, Pushto, Persian, and Baruhi languages to communicate in a better way with the local population.
The University of Balochistan Kharan’s main vision is to be a model public university providing affordable, quality, higher education opportunities to develop the potentially rich human resource in Balochistan through knowledge-centered teaching and research. It also aims in maintaining and fostering high levels of moral and professional standards and to promote national identity. University of Balochistan (UOB) Kharan provide all basic facilities to the students of the university i-e well-equipped laboratories, library, cafeteria, car parking, furnished classrooms, sports complex, etc.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
-12 years of education with a minimum of 45% marks.
-50% marks in the entry test.
Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
-16 years of education with minimum CGPA 2.5/4 or 45% marks in annual system.
-50% in the entry test.
Selection Criteria for Postgraduate Programs
-18 years of field related education From HEC recognized university with at least CGPA 3/4 or first division in annual system.
-GAT (subjective) or GRE subject with at least 60% marks.
