University of Agriculture, Burewala Campus
University of Agriculture Burewala campus was established by the decision of the government of Punjab after keeping in view the importance of agriculture in this region. The inauguration of the university was on 13th February 2013 by the honorable chief minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
The University of Agriculture Burewala campus started its services at the regional agricultural economic development center (RAEDC) Vehari. The main vision of (UAF) is to increase agricultural production and productivity to ensure the security of food for the population and also to develop economically viable technologies by focusing on the agricultural research system.
University of Agriculture Burewala – Admissions, Departments, and Scholarships
The students who have cleared HSSC-II or an equivalent examination and are awaiting results are eligible to apply. The admission criteria for the following programs are as follows
Selection criteria for undergraduate program:
1. Eligibility criteria for B.Sc(Hons) agricultural science F.Sc (pre agriculture, pre-medical, pre-engineering)
2. Eligibility criteria for BS computer science F.A, F.Sc (with maths) or ICS
3. Eligibility criteria for BBA (Agri-Business) F.A, I.COM, D.COM, F.SC
Selection criteria for the graduate program:
1. 16 years of education with a minimum of 50% in the annual system and 2.50 CGPA in semester system
2. 50% marks in entry test
University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Burewala offers different types of scholarships including need-based scholarship or merit-based scholarship in order to facilitate the rising students of the university to fulfill their dreams and also to brighten their future.

In order to solve agriculture problems related to the farmer’s community and to provide the technical knowledge, this campus designed a program for * Examination of irrigation water for improving crop growth and maintaining soil quality. * Soil analysis for observing the quality and examine the nutrient status of the soil. * Information regarding advanced production technology. * Consultancy regarding crop diseases, insect pest attack, and their effective control.
Conducting seminars among students is good for their education and also for their career. This would help them to get more information on the particular seminar topic. Seminars also help them to exchange their ideas with teachers. They will get new things that they think would be implemented practically. University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Burewala also conducted several seminars for the betterment of their students.
