Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, SBBUVAS is a public university located at Sakrand, Pakistan. It is the first public sector Veterinary university. The vision of SBBUVAS is to develop human resource for upgrading the animal entrepreneurship. The aim of the university is to provide knowledge, information, and training for the development of Veterinary & Animal Sciences. It is affiliated with HEC. The motto of the University is “Knowledge is Power”.

SBBUVAS offers undergraduate and graduate programs. The students who have appeared in HSSC or an equivalent examination and are awaiting results are eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
→  12-years of field related education passed with at least second division from any registered institution. → 50% marks in the entry test.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
→ 16 years of education with at least second division with an aggregate 45% in the annual system and 2.5 CGPA in semester system.
→  50% marks in the entry test.
