About Us

The Saidu Medical College is located in Saidu Sharif, Swat District, Pakistan. SMC is a public Sector Institute. SMC was established in October 1998. The first batch of the MBBS program is started on 26th December 1998. In Start, SMC was affiliated with the University of Peshawar, and now it is affiliated with Khyber Medical University. SMC has professional staff in all departments. All over Pakistan, the graduates of SMC are working as a specialist. The name of Saidu Medical College Swat is recognized by the WHO directory of International Medical Colleges. Saidu Medical College is attached to Saidu Teaching Hospital. SMU is under maintenance of the Khyber Pakhtun Khaw Government.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. Candidate passed 12 years of field related education.
2. At least with second division from any recognized institution.
3. 50% marks in the entry test.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. The candidate passed 16 years of education with 50% minimum.
2. 50% marks in entry test
3 The selected candidates will be screened during the interview

Workshops and Seminars are organized by Staff and various societies of students. Medical Campuses are arranged by Bacha khan Welfare Society.
