Qurtuba University (QU) was established in 2001. Its main campus is in Dera Ismail Khan. QU Dera Ismail Khan is recognized and is in the highest ‘W3’ category by the HEC. It has the seventh position among universities in Pakistan by the rankings of HEC. QU Dera Ismail Khan is one of the well-known private sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Highly qualified faculty, dedicated staff, and researchers are providing their best knowledge to students.

The university has been working hard with full devotion towards the attainment of good character building and cultivating in its students the quest for inquiry and investigation so that they can extend the frontier of knowledge with great ease and bring prosperity and peace to our country.

QU Dera Ismail Khan campus, open admissions for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate in Fall and spring sessions. It offers various disciplines in the fields of Computer Sciences, Management sciences, English, Electrical, and Civil technology. It also offers diploma courses in Human rights, Marketing, and Physical education.

Both campuses of QU, DIK, and Peshawar were placed under the W3 category separately by the HEC. It has a lot of achievements. The university retained the third position in the field of Computer Science & Information Technology in HEC rankings. Their vision “To help establish a knowledge-based, tolerant and progressive society”.

The admission form is available at the QU Dera Ismail Khan website, the applicant can download the form and submit it admission block of the university or send it via courier along with the required documents. QU Dera Ismail Khan will conduct an entry test and admissions will be on the basis of test marks and merit. The successful candidates will be called for interviews and the final list will be displayed on campus. All dues should be cleared before the commencement of classes.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. 12 years of education from an accredited institute and at least 2nd division.
2. Valid entry test marks as per University rules.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Program
1. 16 years of relevant education from a registered institute
2. Minimum 50% marks in the annual system (2.50 CGPA out of 4.0)

Selection Criteria for the Postgraduate Program
1. 18 years of relevant field education with the thesis.
2. 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 is required
3. GRA (Subject) as per HEC rules
