Pakistan Naval Academy is located in Monora Island in the Province of Sindh. Manora Island (also known as Manoro), is a group of associated islands of the Pakistani coastline along the Arabian Sea. It is a small peninsula (2.5 km²) located just south of the Port of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. PNA is affiliated with the National University of Science and technology, Karachi University, Pakistan Educational Research Network, Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan Navy Engineering College.

Pakistan Naval Academy is one the earliest Armed force academy in Pakistan and certified based on the international standards of quality. Professional, moral, educational, mental, and physical training to subordinates officers is given by the Naval Academy so that with the passage of time and experience they become proficient Naval officers.

Pakistan Naval Academy offers admission in various disciplines. The candidate must be a citizen of Pakistan.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. 12 years of education with a minimum of 60% marks.
2. Entry test.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. 16 years of education with at least 45% – 50% marks
2. Entry test.

Selection Criteria for Postgraduate Programs
1. 18 years of field related education with at least 50% marks.
2. Entry test.
