NFC-Institute of Engineering & Technology is situated in Multan. It is charted by the Federal Government of Pakistan under the Act of Parliament National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan (NFC-IET Act 2012). NFC was upgraded in1994, with the approval of the Ministry of Industries and Production, and started graduate engineering classes first in the Chemical Engineering discipline, changing its name to “NFC Institute of Engineering.”

National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan is home to the best-qualified engineers in Pakistan especially in the field of chemical engineering. In order to meet the demand for skilled labor in the chemical process industry, a training center was set up in collaboration with M/s. COSMO International Co., Ltd., Japan particularly the fertilizer sector. The Center trained managers, engineers, supervisors, operators, and technicians have to go through multivariate programs for all types of process and engineering industries.

The vision of NFC IET is to produce engineers with high professional competence, analytical approach towards problem solving, organizational & managerial skills, & spirit of nation-building, humanistic outlook & ethical rectitude.

Admission in NFC IET Multan is based on intermediate score and entrance test. The application form for all programs is filled online. The candidate may apply against many categories as he/she desires. In such a case, he/she must indicate preference on the application form. Admission criteria include;

For Engineering, Architecture, CS, BBA, Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry
1.  Intermediate F.Sc. Pre Engineering/ /ICS with 60% marks or D.A.E. in relevant Dscipline on reserved seats.

For Bio-Medical Engineering
1. Intermediate F.Sc. Pre Engineering/ Medical with 60% marks.

For Fashion Design & Criminology
1. Intermediate,  ICS, F.A., or General Science with 45% marks.
