Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNS-UET) is a public-sector higher education institute situated in Multan, Pakistan. On the initiative of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, this University was founded in 2012. The major aim of the University is to give quality professional education in the southern region of Punjab province.
The current campus of MNS-UET is situated on the premises of Government College of Technology (GCT), Qasimpur Colony, Near BCG Chowk, Bahawalpur Road, Multan. The Government of Punjab has purchased a piece of land consisting of 210 acres for the construction of a new main campus of MNS-UET shortly. The University is affiliated with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), National Technology Council (NTC). The motto of the University is ” Mind, Hand, Truth, and Light (Mens, Manus, Veritas et Lux)”.
Currently, nine departments are working in MNS-UET which includes: Department of Engineering and Technology, Department of Computer Science, Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics, Department of Management Sciences, Department of Environmental Sciences, Department of Project Management, Department of Hospital Management, and Department of Public Administration.

→12-years of field related education passed with at least 60 % marks from a recognized institution.
→ ECAT Conducted by UET, Lahore
Selection Criteria for Engineering Technology
→12-years of field related education passed with at least 50 % marks from a recognized institution.
→ ECAT Conducted by UET, Lahore, or MNS-UET Entry Test

Selection Criteria for Computer Science, Mathematics, BBA

→12-years of field related education passed with at least 50 % marks from a recognized institution.
Selection Criteria for Graduates
→ B.Sc or Graduation in the relevant field with at least 50 % marks or 2.0/4.0 or 2nd Div from a recognized institution.
→ Valid NTS-GAT General score of 50 % marks
