Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUHMS) is a public university located at Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. LUHMS was initiated as a Medical School in the year 1881. It was lifted to the level of a Medical College in the year 1942. Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences directs to attain eminence as a top-class medical research and teaching university, producing top-grade healthcare providers employing excellence in every part of the nation.

Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, periodically opens admissions for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs on Self-Finance, Overseas & Merit-Basis. An applicant has to apply manually through prospectus by visiting the Directorate of the admissions of the university.

LUMHS conducts an admission test through NTS for each intake. After a thorough assessment of all applications, test and interview performance (if taken), the merit list of successful candidates is announced and admission offer letters are issued to them. After that, the candidate deposits his/her dues before the commencement of classes.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduates
→12 years of relevant medical education or equivalent with at least 60% marks in intermediate and matriculation.
→ NTS admission test with a valid score.

Selection Criteria for Graduates
→ A medical graduate from a recognized medical university/college declared by PM&DC.
→ Valid registration with PM&DC as a medical practitioner.
→ One year of resident house job in PM&DC certified institution.

Selection Criteria for Postgraduates
→ MS/MPhil with 3.0/4.0 CGPA in semester system and 1st division in the annual system.
→ A medical graduate from a recognized medical university/college declared by PM&DC.
→ Valid registration with PM&DC as a medical practitioner.
→ One year of resident house job in PM&DC certified institution.
→ Computer-based Discipline Test with a valid passing score.
→ Performance in the interview conducted by the Postgraduate Committee.
