Lahore College for Women University has opened its campus in a culturally rich area of Jhang. LCWC is facilitating women of Jhang to quench the thirst for knowledge. The institute is determined to play its role in empowering women so that they can contribute their role in our social construction. The aim of LCWC is to provide a quality education that meets international standards.
The Lahore College for Women University (LCWU Jhang) is a public university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built up in May 1922 as a women’s college. It is one of the oldest female institutions in Pakistan, having 15,000 students and a teaching faculty of 450. Students at the intermediate, bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. levels are able to take admission. It was established as an intermediate college, located on Hall Road, Lahore, with a capacity of 60 students and 13 staff members.

Admissions in LCWU Jhang open in February. Students can apply online. University will then assign the entry test date.
Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. Candidate passed 12 years of field related education.
2. At least with the second division in matric and FSC.
3. 50% marks in the entry test.
Selection Criteria for graduate Programs
1. Candidate passed 12 years of field related education from any recognized institute.
2. At least with the 2.2cGPA.
3. 50% marks in the entry test.
4. Selected candidates will be screened during the interview.
