Karakoram International University, Gilgit-Baltistan Hunza Campus (KIU) is situated at Shanokushal, Karimabad Hunza. Presently, 4 departments are working in KIU Hunza and 8 programs are being offered in these departments. It is dedicated to facilitating higher education services to the people of the Gilgit-Baltistan region. The university aims to provide quality education with its top-tier faculty. The primary concerns of KIU Hunza comprise high-quality education, progressive research, commencing Engineering & Technology Education, Advancement and broadening of the current departments and programs, consolidation of the physical and IT infrastructure, alliance with national & international partners, and making KIU a better place to study, work and live.
