Karachi Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (KITE) is a major project of the Education Enrichment (EduEnrich) Foundation, a non-profit organization led by a devoted team of professionals that are passionate about developing innovative solutions to local issues. Technology and entrepreneurship are requirements for economic success in today’s globalized society. KITE’s programs have been established to be an integral element of both the curriculum and the educational methodology.

The Vision is to have “An ecosystem of interdisciplinary education applied knowledge and entrepreneurship. Their mission “is to create a critical mass of well-rounded citizens with a “can-do” attitude who thrives in multidimensional local and global societies”.

KITE’s key initiative is to provide academic training and practical knowledge to its students. The institute’s collaborations with industry leaders ensure that their curriculum meets industry standards–it assesses and provides what is expected of a working professional. The aim is to produce leaders with critical thinking skills required to compete with the global economy as well as to adapt innovative methods.

Admission is KITE is based on merit and test score. Students who have appeared in SAT (1570/2400 ) or NAT (54/90)  can apply for admissions online. The admission criteria are following.

1. Intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks (60% for BSME & BSEE)
2. A’ Levels with a minimum of 3 passes in 3 principal subjects. No credit is applicable for any subsidiary, general, or advanced supplementary paper(s).
3. American High School Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (or equivalent) or an International Baccalaureate with at least 24 points out of 45.
4. Students applying for LLB five-year program must pass HEC Law Admission Test (LAT) with a score above 50%.

KITE offers scholarships on the basis of merit and financial income. The institute offers scholarships in tuition fees upon good performance in the entrance exam. The concession in tuition fees is 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% based on test scores. Other Scholarships include;
