The Isra University Karachi Campus is situated at 5 km from Malir No. 15, Main Shahrah-e-Faisal. The beautiful and lush green campus contains Al-Tibri Medical College, Isra School of Optometry, Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital and Isra Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology.
The AL-TIBRI Medical College is dedicated to quality education in the medical field. It accommodates the serious want for community-oriented, capable, committed and above all caring medical doctors, dentists, vision scientists and nurses who through their broad understanding and attainment of relevant Skills can deal with the health problems of the people. The Isra School of Optometry offers education and training in the field of vision sciences.
The Isra University is owned by Isra Islamic Foundation, a non-profit organization, certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP). The University is recognized and highly ranked by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. In its short history of eighteen years, the University has grown from 30 students in the Fall Semester 1997 to more than 3500 students, at the present time. The University currently offers more than 40-degree programs ranging from bachelor’s to Ph.D. levels, in a wide variety of fields of study.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduates (MBBS/BDS/BS)
→ Matriculation (SSC or Equivalent) weightage is 10%.
→ HSSC /F.Sc (Pre-Medical or Equivalent) weightage is 40%.
→ MDCAT Test weightage is 50%.
Selection Criteria for Postgraduates (MS/MD)
→ MBBS/equivalent qualification registered with PMDC
→ Completed one year House Job, with at least six months in the particular discipline
→ One-year experience in a particular specialty
→ Pass entry test

Isra University Karachi Campus offers Need-Based Scholarships to its deserving and talented students. Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarship Program (PMNICTSP) is funded by National ICT R&D Fund, Ministry of Information Technology.
Isra University is listed in the roster of institutions where the poor and meritorious students, seeking admissions, are eligible to apply for the award for scholarships from an “Endowment Fund” created by the Government of Sindh.
