Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan is a private-sector research university located in a suburban area of Karachi, Pakistan. The campus of the University is spread over an area of 350 acres on a picturesque landscape, located in the vicinity of the Sindh Balochistan border. Founded in 1991, it is one of the leading universities in Management and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The University is affiliated with Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), Pakistan Pharmacy Council (PCP). The motto of the university is “In Pursuit of Excellence”.

The main aim of the University is to deliver inclusive high-quality education and research opportunities and to improve University’s learning environment. Selection Criteria for Undergraduates
1. 12 years of field-related education, passed with at least 50 % marks from a recognized institution.

Selection Criteria for Graduates
1. 16 years of field related education with at least 2.5 CGPA in the semester system
2. 50% marks in entry test

Selection Criteria for Postgraduates
1. 18 years of field related education with at least 3.0 CGPA in the semester system
2. 60% marks in entry test
