Ghazi University is a public sector university in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. Dera Ghazi Khan is a city located in Dera Ghazi Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is one of the most populous cities in Southern Punjab, and it is the largest district in Punjab in terms of area. This city is situated on the western bank of the Indus River. It was founded by a Balouch ruler, Nawab Haji Khan Mirani, also called Mirani Balouch, in 1476; it was known as “Dera Phoolan Da Sehra” due to plenty of gardens and Kastori canal, supplied by the Indus River and tehsil Tounsa Shareef is very famous in district D.G khan. Siraiki is the main spoken language in cities and towns. However, in rural areas, Balochi is spoken as well. Almost 20% of the city population speaks the Urdu language. The university was found in the year 2012 at the initiative of the Chief Minister of the Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
The climate behavior of this city is slightly warm. The winter season is not on high peaks but the summer season remains on high levels. The average rainfall in this region is 5 mili. Sometimes the hills of Koh Suleman get snowy. The university is located in the center of the city near pull data and college chowk. There are two buildings at this institute. It is affiliated with the Higher Education Commission. The Motto of the university is “Education for everyone”. Ghazi University is going to be a realistic enterprising and forward-looking seat of higher education in the future because of its highly qualified and experienced faculty and state of the art laboratories and need-based programs of studies.

The candidate may submit a duly filled-in form along-with paid bank challan of Rs. 500/- at City Campus (New College Chowk), Dera Ghazi Khan, by hand, or through postage/courier.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
– 12 years of education related to the field and passed with at least 2nd division from any registered institution.
– Eligibility Age limit is 23 years old.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM
– 16 years of education with at least a second division with an aggregate.
– 45% in the annual system and 2.5 CGPA in the semester system.
