Foundation University Islamabad is a private sector Institute. FUI is a project of the Fauji Foundation, was established under a Federal Charter in October 2002. The university is providing the welfare leading education of higher learning. The education and research going on are filled with excellence and have contributed a lot towards the development of our nation.
At FUI, special efforts are made to develop collaborators and linkages with other HEIs at national as well as international levels and to link the University with the local community and corporate sector, especially the Fauji Foundation industries. FUI has signed many MoUs with different local and foreign Universities & industries and is regularly pursuing these deeds to establish a vibrant mutual collaboration for the benefit of students, research scholars, and faculty.
The education offered at FUI is diverse and has produced valuable human resources for our national communities. The institute is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC), National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC), National Technology Council (NTC) and Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). The University has been given the highest rating categorial University, ISLAMABAD.
At present, more than six thousand students are studying at the University for whom, counseling and career guidance are available along with substantial opportunities for participation in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, to turn them into well-rounded personalities. Additionally, the University strongly emphasizes character building and instilling ethical values in students.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. Candidate passed 12 years of field-related education.
2. At least with second division from any recognized institution.
3. 50% marks in the entry test.

1. The candidate passed 16 years of education with a 50% minimum.
2. 50% marks in the entry test.
3 The selected candidates will be screened during the interview.
