The Federal Urdu University of Arts Sciences & Technology Islamabad is a public sector university, located in the residential Gulshan Town and Saddar of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The university has two satellite campuses including the central campus which is located in Islamabad and the secondary campus is located in Karachi.
The Federal Urdu University of Arts Sciences & Technology Islamabad relishes the unique distinction of being the first-ever university in Pakistan, which aims at using Urdu as the main language of instruction and teaching.  The University was inaugurated on 13th November 2002. Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences & Technology Islamabad is highly regarded for its strong academic departments, including Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Urdu. With the rapidly transforming innovative approach to teaching, research, and learning, we are slowly but surely establishing a good reputation among employers, FUUAST stands amongst the top 10 leading research universities, in selected areas.

The Federal Urdu University of Arts Sciences & Technology Islamabad entertains all the candidates qualified to achieve the University’s laid down academic eligibility standards without considering any specific gender, race, creed, or age. Two percent of seats are reserved for disabled persons.

Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs

1. 12 years of field-related education, passed with at least second division from any registered institution.
2. 50% marks in the entry test.

Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs

1. 16 years of education with at least second division with an aggregate of 45% in the annual system and 2.5 CGPA in the semester system.
2. 50% marks in the entry test.
