College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, (Jhang Campus)
College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is located in Jhang. CVAS aims to develop and improve the teaching methods to train students in the provision of livestock farmer’s support. Highly qualified and foreign-trained faculty are available on campus. CVAS is certified by Pakistan Veterinary & Medical Council (PVMC). After efforts of CVAS administration availability of boys and girls hostel, water reservoir, academic complex, residences of employees and telephone/Fax/Internet facilities are now available in CVAS Jhang.
Selection criteria for undergraduate Programs
Minimum 60% marks in MDCAT.
At least 60% marks in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent
Merit list will be finalized on the basis of F.Sc marks 50% and Entry test marks 50% weightage.
Age limit 23 years old
Selection criteria for Graduate Programs
16 years of education
Minimum 50% marks or 2.50/4.00 CGPA in university
Minimum 50% marks in the Entry test for M.Phil conducted by UVAS Lahore
Selection criteria for the Postgraduate Program
Candidate must have a Masters degree with the first division
Candidate should obtain 70% marks in GRE arranged by the university

ORIC was established in UVAS in 2011 under the certification of Higher education commission. It offers end to end support to all research, development and innovation projects. ORIC provides funding for research. It aims for the Integration of Research and education.
