BZU Sub-Campus, Vehari is located in Vehari town. Vehari town is the headquarters of the Vehari district in the lower region of the Punjab province. It is located about 100 km away from the famous city of Multan. The route to Vehari goes through Lahore and via the religious city of Pakpattan which is famous as the burial site of the well-known Sufi, Fariduddin Ganjshakar is buried.  Sahiwal is also located on route Vehari. Vehari is famously known as the city of cotton, amongst several other crops. This small town is commonly referred to as the king of cotton. An extremely important thing that comes to mind is the fact that Vehari has extremely hot summers.
Although this city experiences all the four major seasons of the country, the fact that stands out is that summer is one of the hottest seasons with extremely high temperatures. The Bahauddin Zakariya University BZU Vehari is situated at a distance of 10 km from the center of the city. It covers 960 acres of land. The University consists of 45 bus fleet and 3 coaches so that students and faculty have access to transport with ease. The University began to function in 1975 in rented buildings having 8 departments. Now, it consists of more than 51 departments/institutes/colleges. There are 630 faculty members, 389 of them hold doctoral degrees and among its around 26659 students, half are female. It offers undergraduate programs.

The BZU Vehari Campus offers education in undergraduate and graduate programs. Admissions open in September. Students can apply online. University will then assign the entry test date.
Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
– Candidate passed 12 years of field related education.
– 50 % in metric and intermediate.
– 50% marks in the entry test.
Selection Criteria for graduate Programs
– 16 years of education with at least a second division from any recognized institution.
– 50% marks in the entry test. Minimum 2.2 CGPA Selected students will be screened during the interview.
