Bahauddin Zakariya University established its campus in Lodhran inside a block in the Government Postgraduate College, Lodhran. Lodhran City had no University Campuses and only two colleges both for men. Lodhran city has many higher secondary schools and private colleges. Sensing the dire need for quality education in the District, Bahauddin Zakariya University’s Sub Campus at Lodhran was announced by the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab on 11th of November, 2017.

Admissions Criteria of BZU Lodhran is as follows.

  • Intermediate (FA, FSc, ICS) or equivalent with at least 50% ( 60% for Engineering Programs) marks in aggregate
  • Qualifying aptitude test with at least the desirable percentage as decided by the Admission Committee
