OVERVIEW

In March, 1949 Mill Hill London Catholic Father established St. Mary’s Cambridge School as a missionary school for the Catholic district of Islamabad-Rawalpindi. The founding principal was Rev. Fr. Thijssen .St. Mary’s School, Chaklala was established in January 1956 and till 1964 the school educated a number of boys then it was handed over to the P.A.F.

Following the tradition St. Mary’s Academy has produced outstanding results in FBISE SSC-II Examination 2018.
Among 99 candidates, 36 students secured A1 and 29 students secured A grades.

ADMISSIONS

St. Mary’s Academy is providing the best educational option, the school offers classes from Play Group to Matriculation, HSSC , A Level and O. Preparing the students to excel and provide their best in academic, sporting fields and an important role in Government, the professions, business and in the Defence Forces. Admission in St.Mary’s academy is purely on merit basis.
Registration forms are available at the school office. Admission test held in school. The School Readiness Assessment is conducted with applicant and parents. The final decision of admission is made by Principle. Applicant are then informed about their admissions. All dues should be cleared before commencement of classes.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR PLAYGROUP

  1. Age should be 3 to 3.9 years
  2. The child should be toilet trained

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR NURSERY

  1. Age should be 4 to 4.9 years
  2. The child should be toilet trained

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR PREP

  1. Age should be 5 years
  2. The child should be toilet trained

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR CLASS 1 TO CLASS 7

  1. Age should be 6 years
  2. Admission test should be cleared

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR O LEVEL

  1. The applicant has passed till class 7th from an accredited educational institute.
  2. Admission test should be cleared.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR CLASS HSSC

  1. The applicant has passed SSC exams from an accredited educational institute.
  2. Admission test should be cleared.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR A LEVEL

  1. The applicant has passed O level from an accredited educational institute.
  2. Admission test should be cleared.

PROGRAM OFFERED

St. Mary’s Academy is providing the best educational option and offer the following scheme of study.

PLAYGROUP

The St. Mary’s academy is building a strong base of students from the very first day of the school. Faculty with high intellectual level and diverse experience is teaching the students about moral values, ethics, and developing their mental level in a positive way.

The  admission to Prep opens in mid of January and close in mid of February.

NURSERY

The school is providing a strong base of students. Highly qualified faculty is teaching the students. The  admission to Prep opens in mid of January and close in mid of February.

CLASS 1 TO 7th

The St. Mary’s academy is building a strong base of students. Working to introduce and polish the skills in students. Faculty with high intellectual level and diverse experience is teaching the students. The  admission to these classes opens in mid of February.

O LEVEL

The St. Mary’s academy is providing the best education. Faculty with high intellectual level and experience is teaching the students. School have well established laboratories and library. O Level studies commence in April in the year in which a student is promoted to Class 8. Applications for admission open in January and close in mid of February and admission tests are held in February.

HSSC

The St. Mary’s academy is offering the best education. Experience faculty is teaching the students. School have well established laboratories and students have access to library. HSSC classes commence in fourth week of August.

The school is offering the HSSC in following

  • Pre-Engineering
  • Pre-Medical
  • Science General

A LEVEL

The school has high achievement at A Level. Regular class attendance and effective use of the library build up student’s carrier. The students gained excellent results and places at the best universities. A Level classes commence in the fourth week of August. Applications are accepted during July/August.

CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP CENTRE STATUS

St. Mary’s Academy is one of the few Cambridge International Centres worldwide to be granted this status. St. Mary’s Academy has been awarded this fellowship status because of its commitment to Cambridge University International Examinations.
