Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the Maxwell King PhD Scholarship.

  • English is the required language.
  • Requirements for the General English Language Test are as follows:
  1. (79 +) Reading 13 Listening 12 Speaking 18 and Writing 21 on the TOEFL and (6 points 5) overall on the IELTS (no band less than 6 points 0).
  • Arts Business and Economics require the following scores on the English Language Test:
  1. (7) overall in IELTS (no band lower than 6 points) and (94 +) in Reading Listening Speaking and Writing on the TOEFL.

  5. A national of New Zealand.
