Charles Darwin University RTP Scholarship fully funded [MSc, PhD]

Under the RTP students completing HDRs at Australian HEPs will have access to flexible funding arrangements to support their training. This international scholarship program is intended to train students in the skills required to pursue careers in academia and other fields of the labor market. The students are Masters and PhD candidates. Additionally it facilitates cooperation between HEPs and other research stakeholders as well as the industry. Students will benefit from the skills they learn which will empower them and enable them to achieve great things in their careers. To assist students with the expense of their education the university businesses the government and community organizations offer scholarships. The Research Support Program (RSP) provides funding to HEPs for systemic research costs such as libraries labs consumables computing centers and support and technical staff salaries in addition to covering research expenses not directly covered by Australian competitive grants and other sources. The sponsorship will relieve some of your financial burden so you can concentrate on your studies and research. You can study a wide range of subjects as part of your research degree at CDU scholarship for local and international students. These subjects include health education and the arts engineering and information technology social and public policy business and law disaster management humanities social sciences and languages tropical agriculture aquaculture and biosecurity. You must select a research project and a potential Charles Darwin University research supervisor who will support you during the project while submitting your application. Benefits

  • Outstanding research students who want to pursue an HDR at an Australian university are awarded the Australian Government RTP Stipend Scholarships.
  • The scholarships are provided to assist students in meeting their basic living costs.
  • The annual tax-free salary for full-time students is AU$32192 (2024 rate).
  • AU$16096 (2024 rate) will be paid annually to part-time students plus taxes.
  • You can take paid time off for illness. There will be maternity leave.
  • For domestic students and $2500 for international students the relocation allowance for RTP stipend recipients is capped at $2000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be able to enroll full-time in Charles Darwin University’s Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program.
  • To be eligible for Charles Darwin Universitys Masters or Doctorate by research programs applicants must fulfill the academic prerequisites.
  • Candidates must have earned both a bachelors and a masters degree in order to be eligible for a doctorate scholarship.
  • Applicants must have finished their bachelors degree in order to be considered for a Masters scholarship.
  • International applicants must submit proof that they have met Charles Darwin Universitys minimal requirements for English language proficiency.

  • Candidates cannot be receiving more than 75% of their RTP stipend rate in other forms of financial assistance.
  • Candidates must exhibit extraordinary potential for research fit for an HDR program.

Documents Required

  • To prove your citizenship you must present a copy of your birth certificate passport or residency visa.
  • Official copies of certifications and transcripts from schools.
  • For each and every earlier tertiary study.
  • Proof of supervision such as correspondence with your prospective supervisor via email.
  • A 1500–1700 word research outline on the proposed study. Included should be the project title the general research field a brief description ethical guidelines and any other pertinent issues pertaining to the study.
  • Two referees must complete the HDR referee report form in order to attest to your academic record.
  • Copy of your most recent resume.
  • publications and portfolios as supporting documentation.
