Eligibility criteria

  • After a rigorous selection process international students are the only ones eligible for the current round of RTP stipend scholarships.
  • Admission to a qualified Higher Degree Research (HDR) program is a prerequisite. Therefore, prospective students must first enrol in an approved HDR program at ANU as international students.
  • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in order to be considered for the ANU AGRTP a postgraduate international research scholarship.
  • For all submissions to be eligible for the 2025 AGRTP scholarship they must meet the academic requirements of the university.
  • Students also have to make sure that the total amount of money they receive for living expenses throughout their studies does not exceed 75% of the RTP stipend rate.
  • Student enrolment and for international student’s residency status maintenance must be maintained for the duration of the eligible HDR program for the student to remain eligible for the RTP scholarship.
