Ph.D. Petroleum and Gas Engineering

The Ph.D. in Petroleum and Gas Engineering is 3 to 5 years degree programme that is  designed to provide students with the essentials they need to succeed in their careers for the rest of their lives. Graduates are prepared to work as petroleum and natural gas engineers in both the private and public sectors, or to continue their study at the graduate level. The classes are designed to serve as a melting pot for theory, case studies, and engineering project design. This allows the learner to recognize and comprehend the fact that a successful engineering design project necessitates a solid theoretical foundation, experimentation, and engineering judgment. The program's main focus is on the principles of mathematics, earth and engineering sciences, and how to apply them to classic petroleum and natural gas engineering themes. Throughout the curriculum, design tasks are required. Problem formulation tactics, testing of various design methodologies, feasibility studies, and economic and environmental considerations are all needed to complete these projects. Drilling, production, evaluation, transportation, and storage are just some of the jobs that graduates of the program will be expected to do. The teachers and staff of petroleum and natural gas engineering are dedicated to creating an engaging teaching and learning environment in which students are active participants in the learning process. The scope of general education opportunities is sufficiently broad and diversified to allow students to personalize their educational experience to their own interests, backgrounds, and expected position in society.
