Ph.D Electronics

PhD Electronics is concerned with the study of electronic equipment, systems, machineries, and telecommunication systems in terms of design, manufacture, installation, and operation. PhD Electronics takes approximately 4 to 5 years to complete, depending on the project.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including creativity, interface, and embodiment design, as well as instrumentation, robotics, and automation. It includes engineering mathematics, drawing, physics, and chemistry as well as other fundamental engineering concepts and procedures.

Core Courses

  • Calculus and Analytical Geometry
  • Signals and Systems
  • Electronic Circuit Design
  • Microprocessors and Microcontrollers
  • Electromagnetic Theory
  • Linear Control Systems
  • Instrumentation and Measurements
  • Probability and Random Variables
  • Integrated Circuits
  • Microwave Electronics

Eligibility Criteria

  • 18 years of education in relevant filed.
  • Minimum 50% marks in previous degree.
  • Passing marks in entry test.

Scope

Electronics’ primary responsibility is to design, develop, test, and supervise electrical power distribution systems in any infrastructure. In comparison to electronic engineers, they work with high voltages and large systems. Engineers, on the other hand, are responsible for the cautious handling and installation of massive pieces of machinery. The field also includes the creation of sub-micron digital and analogue integrated circuits, DSP and computer vision algorithms, communications systems, electric power station operation, and industrial electrical control. Electronic engineering has a lot of potential in Pakistan. These engineers can readily adapt to telecommunications, power industries, building units, and any other industry that uses electricity.
