Ph.D. in Biotechnology

Ph.D. Biotechnology is a 3-5 years degree program that is considered among the highest degrees in the relevant field. It consists of 1 year of coursework and a comprehensive examination. After this, the aspirant has to do the research and complete the thesis. The thesis will be presented to the supervisor and after approval, the thesis will require more approvals. The student has to present the defense of his/her thesis to get approval. After approval, the aspirant must need an international publication of the research work to become eligible for the degree. The prerequisite to getting admission in the Ph.D. program is 18 years of education in the related subject with a minimum 3.00 CGPA (semester system) or first division (annual examination system). The aspirants must have passed the GRE subject test with 60% marks and may have to clear the admission test.
