Ph.D. Applied Psychology

Students who complete a Ph. D. program in applied psychology are prepared to use psychological principles and research findings in the workplace and in educational settings. The duration of Ph.D program is 3-8 years. Such programs  includes research as a key component. The Ph.D. is a highly professional degree program that consists of a combination of taught courses and a research thesis. The Ph.D. curriculum consists of 18 credit hours of lecture and a research thesis. Before courses begin, students are given an orientation to the resources, facilities, rules and regulations, and code of behavior. Every student is required to attend the orientation program, and students are given copies of the rules and regulations throughout the session.
