MS/M.Phil. Islamic Studies

Masters in Islamic Studies is a two-year academic program offered by multiple universities in Pakistan. It is a recommended subject because Pakistan is an Islamic state, so the importance of Islamic Studies can be understood. The degree aims at inducing in-depth knowledge of Islam in students to generate scholars who can promote Islamic norms, culture, and civilization in Pakistan and across the globe. Scope

There is a widespread misconception that the scope of Islamic studies for graduates is very limited, and they can only play their role in Madrassas. The reality is opposite to it. BS Islamic Studies open the doors of various career opportunities in both public and private sectors for graduates. For instance, Pakistan is an Islamic state, and Islamic Banks demand in-depth knowledge of the Islamic Banking system. Similarly, for better understanding, analysis, and implementation of Islamic laws, rules, and jurisprudence, Islamic studies graduates prefer to play their part.
